The IWS stand alone unit is one of the simplest intruductions to hydroponics available. Once set up it is easy to manage and delivers great results.
DWC systems work by submerging your plants roots in a highly oxygenated nutrient solution. Air is pumped through the nutrient solution which provides fresh oxygen to the roots to encourage rapid growth.
On a single pot DWC system, the nutrient needs to be changed periodicly to remove waste. This means draining away the soultion through the bottom of the pot, and replacing it with fresh nutrient solution to the correct level. Each DWC single-pot system has its own 2 outlet pump, connect to 2 air stones in each pot.
We recommend the nutrient solution is checked on a daily basis as the EC and PH can fluctuate within the pot over time, which could lead to some problems and deficiencies in the plant and its root system.
